Fastbridge Assessment - grades 4K-12
- The Fastbridge assessment is a computer-adaptive assessment that is administered in the Fall, Winter and Spring each year measuring student progress and growth in reading and math. This assessment complements state and classroom level assessments that are used to monitor progress in student learning, inform curriculum development and guide programming decisions.
Fountas and Pinnell Benchmark Assessment System (BAS) - grades Kindergarten-8, selected students

The BAS assessment is a one-on-one, teacher-administered, comprehensive assessment that is used to determine the reading level of each student. The BAS is administered in the Fall and Spring each year and the results are used to provide interventions, inform instruction and monitor progress.
2020-21 - State Assessments
The following notification complies with Wis. Stat. 118.30(1m)(d). The District will conduct the following state assessments during the 2020-21 school year:
Wisconsin Forward Exam - grades 3-8, 10

The Forward Exam is an online assessment administered in the spring of each year. Students in grades 3 through 8 are given the English language arts and mathematics assessment, students in grades 4 and 8 test in science, and students in graded 4, 8 and 10 take the social studies assessment. The Forward Exam will be administered between March 22 and April 30, 2021.

ACT Aspire - grades 9 and 10

The ACT Aspire is a standards-based system of assessments to monitor progress toward college and career readiness content areas of English, math, reading, science and writing. The Aspire is administered in the spring of the school year, online with multiple question types including multiple choice, constructed response and technology-enhanced items and is capable of predicting outcomes on the ACT. The 2020-21 state-wide administration of the ACT Aspire is scheduled from April 6th through May 6th, 2021.
ACT Plus Writing and ACT WorkKeys - grade 11

The ACT is a standard a paper and pencil assessment used to help students understand how they can improve their career readiness skills and helps employers determine whether individuals are qualified for positions. The 2021 administration of the ACT Plus Writing is scheduled for March 9, 2021 with a make-up date of March 23rd.

The ACT with Writing for Students Testing with Accommodations is scheduled from March 9-19, 2021.
Dynamic Learning Map (DLM)

The DLM™ assessment measures the academic progress of students with significant cognitive disabilities in the subject areas of ELA and Mathematics at grades 3-11, Science at grades 4 and 8 - 11, and in Social Studies at grades 4, 8, and 10. The DLM Is Administered in the Spring of each year. The 2020-21 test window for the DLM is March 22-30, 2021.
Access for English Language Learners (ELLs)

ACCESS for ELLs is an annual assessment of the developing social and academic English language proficiency of English learners (ELs) in grades K through 12. This assessment allows educators, students, and families to monitor students’ progress in acquiring academic English in the domains of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The 2020-21 ACCESS test administration will occur beginning February 22, 2021.
