Fastbridge Assessment - grades 4K-8
- The Fastbridge assessment is a computer-adaptive assessment that is administered in the Fall, Winter and Spring each year measuring student progress and growth in reading and math. This assessment complements state and classroom level assessments that are used to monitor progress in student learning, inform curriculum development and guide programming decisions.
2023-2024 - State Assessments
The following notification complies with Wis. Stat. 118.30(1m)(d). The District will conduct the following state assessments during the 2023-24 school year:
Wisconsin Forward Exam - grades 3-8, 10

The Forward Exam is an online assessment administered in the spring of each year. Students in grades 3 through 8 are given the English language arts and mathematics assessment, students in grades 4 and 8 test in science, and students in graded 4, 8 and 10 take the social studies assessment. The Forward Exam will be administered between March 18 and April 26, 2024.

PreACT Secure - grades 9 and 10
- PreACT Secure is a summative assessment, aligned to the ACT test and the ACT College and Career Readiness Standards, that measures what students have learned in the areas of English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science.
- PreACT Secure closely mirrors the ACT test in many ways, including implementation, test delivery, scoring, and reporting. PreACT Secure scores predict how students will perform on the ACT when they reach 11th grade and their readiness for college-level coursework.
- The PreACT Secure assessment window is administered between March 18-April 26, 2024.

ACT Plus Writing - grade 11

The ACT is a standard a paper and pencil assessment used to help students understand how they can improve their career readiness skills and helps employers determine whether individuals are qualified for positions. The spring 2024 administration of the ACT Exam window is scheduled for March 12-22, 2024.

Dynamic Learning Map (DLM) - grades 3-11

The DLM™ assessment measures the academic progress of students with significant cognitive disabilities in the subject areas of ELA and Mathematics at grades 3-11, Science at grades 4 and 8 - 11, and in Social Studies at grades 4, 8, and 10. The DLM Is Administered online in the Spring of each year. The 2023-24 test window for the DLM is March 18 through April 26, 2024.

Access for English Language Learners (ELLs)

ACCESS for ELLs is an annual assessment of the developing social and academic English language proficiency of English learners (ELs) in grades K through 12. This assessment allows educators, students, and families to monitor students’ progress in acquiring academic English in the domains of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The 2023-24 ACCESS test administration will occur beginning December 4, 2023
