Just because you can use an ordinary charger to charge your Chromebook, it does not mean you should. The Technology Department recommends using the charger provided with your device to keep your battery charging at its best. Your school issued charger has extra wattage to charge your battery faster and keep it charged longer.

If you have noticed that things are slowing down, plug it in to the black charger that came with your device to solve the problem.
