As we step into March, our district remains committed to fostering a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment for all students. Throughout the school year, our staff have been focusing on CHAMPS & STOIC, key components of the Safe & Civil Schools framework. ✔ CHAMPS helps teachers create clear expectations for student behavior in every setting—whether in the classroom, hallways, or lunchroom—so students know how to be successful. ✔ STOIC guides staff in setting structured, proactive supports to maintain a predictable, respectful, and welcoming school climate for all. By working together—staff, students, and families—we can continue building a school environment where every child feels safe, valued, and ready to learn. Thank you for your partnership in this important work! #WeAreMAPS

This school year, we’re excited to share that our dedicated support staff will be participating in the Strengthening Families Program during 4 scheduled MSI days! The program will provide our staff with valuable tools to strengthen relationships and support student well-being both at school and at home. What’s even more exciting is how this aligns with our Literacy Together initiative! By fostering strong connections with families and students, we’re building a foundation that not only supports emotional health but also encourages a love for learning—especially when it comes to literacy. 📚 Together, we are creating a supportive environment that empowers our students to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. 💙 #WeAreMAPS See less
