MERRILL, Wis. — We’re pleased to share that Matt Weberpal has been selected as the next Associate Principal at Merrill High School. He will step into the role previously held by Allie Libby, who resigned at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
Matt brings over a decade of experience in education, with a strong background in special education, regular education, and school leadership. He has served in a variety of roles throughout his career, including classroom teacher, instructional leader, and coach.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Superior. Matt and his wife, Hillary, a registered nurse, are the proud parents of four children: Amelia (14), Madelynn (11), Levi (9), and Reece (4). As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, attending sporting events, and being active in their community.
