Chromebook Care

  • Keep it in the district issued case at all times

  • No stickers, etchings, foil wrappers, or writing on the Chromebook or case.

  • Keep food and drink away from the Chromebook.

Chromebook Responsibilities

  • Remember, the Chromebook belongs to the school district!

  • Assume that NOTHING you do on the Chromebook is private or confidential; it can be reviewed at any time by IT.

  • All photos, memes, documents, etc. should be appropriate and related to school.

  • Bring your Chromebook to school fully charged each day. They do not hold a charge as long as an iPad, so you should get in the habit of charging it every night. If you charge it in the same place everyday, you will be more likely to remember to bring it to school

  • If you forget your Chromebook at home, you can get a loaner from the library. However, you will be limited to 3 checkouts per year. Loaners are for emergencies, not for bad habits! Loaners must be returned by the end of the day.
