If approved by voters, the referendum will cost an estimated $6.00 per year for each $100,000 of property value, over the current 2017-18 school tax levy.
If not approved, additional reductions may include:

Reduction of staff, causing increased class size and elimination of some programs and services

Reduction in the ability to attract and retain the best teachers to MAPS, especially in “hard-to-fill” areas

Reduction of curriculum offerings, course materials, and supplies to meet higher standards and goals

Reduction through consolidation of District facilities

Reduction in expenditures for technology and equipment upgrades

Reduction in expenditures for priority building maintenance
